Our Team

Garden to Table has committed and experienced staff members and volunteers to help foster school partnerships and support to ensure the growth of your school gardens.

Lindsey LeCuyer, Executive Director (she/her)

Lindsey grew up in the Washington, DC area and received a BA in Music Education from Virginia Tech. After spending some years reconnecting with her roots in Texas, she has happily settled in her husband’s homeland of northern Colorado! Lindsey brings 15 years of public school experience as a music educator. Intrigued by the opportunity to learn more about gardening while volunteering at her daughters’ school, she joined the parent team at the Louisville GTT garden. Directing program at Garden to Table was Lindsey’s dream “next step” in her professional life, providing the opportunity to work with schools to educate the next generation of environmentally aware students while building community around the wonder of growing our own food.

Adoree Faul, Garden Director (she/her & ella/la)

Adoree is a nature and animal lover who grew up exploring in the mountains west of Boulder. She has spent a good part of her life traveling outside of the United States and worked on various permaculture and organic vegetable farms in Patagonia. She is passionate about inspiring others to grow their own food and to see the world. She’s bilingual (speaking both Spanish and English), a certified yoga instructor, has guided nature tours in New Zealand, and studied Nutrition and Food Science at Colorado State University. On weekends you will find her in the kitchen fermenting her latest harvest, rock climbing or in the mountains attempting to trail run.

Courtlyn Carpenter, Outreach Director & Garden Manager (she/her)

Courtlyn grew up in western Colorado where she took full advantage of abundant opportunities to spend time outdoors hiking, biking, and skiing. Her love of the outdoors and concern for the environment led her to study environmental engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, from where she graduated with her masters degree. Courtlyn has worked on several farms across the United States, and she spent a summer studying food systems in Denmark and England. Not only was this farming experience rewarding, but it also created an appreciation for the hard work that goes into agriculture and the importance of providing educational programs about food systems. In addition to farming and working at Garden to Table, Courtlyn plays cello in the local folk band Sturtz.

Charlotte Sandkuhler, Program Director & Title I Garden Educator (she/her)

Charlotte grew up in Baltimore and developed a love of nature canoeing around the Chesapeake Bay.  She studied Environmental Science at the University of Maryland and began her career creating schoolyard gardens, educating students about urban environmentalism, and running marine biology camps.  After relocating to Colorado, she taught and developed curriculum for the Butterfly Pavilion and Majestic View Nature Center.  She has enjoyed many years as a substitute teacher for BVSD.  She became aware of Garden to Table as a summer steward for her children’s school garden beds, and is thrilled to be part of that team now.  When she isn’t inspecting the sprouts in her garden beds, you can find Charlotte hiking with her family, discovering new board games with her son, attempting escape rooms, or practicing piano to stay one step ahead of her daughter.

Trisha Langenfeld, Garden Coordinator (she/her)

Trisha is originally from rural Iowa, where industrial farming is apparent for as far as the eye can see. It wasn’t until late college that she learned the importance of small farms and local food systems. This ultimately led her to her two year AmeriCorps program where she taught farm-to-school and environmental education in the Gunnison Valley. After a six month travel break she relocated to Boulder where she works full time as an outreach case manager for the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless. She was ecstatic for an opportunity to become a GTT garden coordinator and her hands back in the soil. In her free time you can find Trisha crafting, hiking and enjoying time with her friends.

Sierra Petrash, Garden Coordinator & Title I Garden Educator (she/her)

Sierra is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and has always had an immense love for the outdoors. When she moved to Colorado for college she dedicated her academic career to the environment. She is graduated in the Spring of 2024 with a B.A in both Environmental Studies and Sociology. In Atlanta, Sierra worked on urban farms and fell in love with agriculture and plans on continuing fostering that love through Garden to Table. She also recently completed a thesis on the overwhelming benefits of agriculture and outdoor education. When Sierra is not working, she is skiing, playing frisbee, or just lounging around with friends!

Azul Ocampo-Manzo, Intern (she/her)

Azul is originally from Mexico, where she would spend most of her time either exploring beautiful rivers at her grandfather’s rural town or stuck in the city where the only vegetation around was her mom’s small garden. She became very passionate about people reconnecting with nature and environmental justice, for which she moved to Colorado to pursue a college degree in Environmental Studies w/ Geology at CU Boulder. Her background has fueled a passion for sustainability, community development, and environmental education, as she strives to promote a deeper connection between people and nature through her studies and future career.

Lucy Sutcliffe, Intern (she/her)

Lucy grew up in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The small town fostered a love of nature that led her to study Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is currently a junior and loving her studies. The Garden to Table organization is a perfect fit for Lucy as the work is hands on and incredibly fulfilling. She is excited to teach, but more importantly to gain knowledge of organic gardening and the workings of a nonprofit organization. She could not be more thrilled to be joining this team.
