Peppers, like onions, are very common both raw and cooked.  Many dishes from many cultures use the many varieties of sweet and spicy peppers now available around the world.  Peppers can range from sweet to spicy enough to be the main ingredient in bear spray!

South and Central America - grown for thousands of years. Some varieties were taken to Europe before being brought back to the land that is now Colorado.

Well-drained soil, ideally with high calcium and phosphorus content.

When to harvest
Harvest when ready. Stop harvesting 1-2 weeks before student harvest.
