Best practices are to use clean, uninfected seed (know your source), and remove all dead plant material from the previous year. Can be transmitted to other plants by aphids, or by the gardener. Be sure to wash tools and hands after handling affected plant material. No treatment for this cure beyond selective pruning and preventative measures.
